Daticon EED Taps Mike Jahnke As Senior Vice President to Lead Client Engagement and Delivery Organization

Veteran eDiscovery executive to drive Daticon EED client operations

KIRKLAND, Wash. — October 14, 2008 — Electronic Evidence Discovery, Inc. (EED), a leading international provider of eDiscovery services, today announced that Mike Jahnke has been named senior vice president and will assume responsibility for the company's Client Engagement and Delivery Organization (CEDO). Jahnke will continue to serve as general manager of EED's Daticon business unit, a role he has held since the acquisition of Daticon by Daticon EED in July of 2008. As SVP for client engagement and delivery, Jahnke will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional quality of service for EED's customers and for the continued integration of EED's consulting, client service and sales operations under a unified client engagement model.

"Mike Jahnke has demonstrated tremendous leadership in driving the successful integration of Daticon with Daticon EED and has the background and deep market experience necessary to fully implement our vision for client engagement," said Dave McCann, president and CEO of Daticon EED, Inc. "We're fortunate to have someone with Mike's qualifications on board as we streamline and strengthen our executive management team."

Daticon EED is moving proactively to realign its client engagement model to reflect the changing dynamics of the eDiscovery market. While the amount of evidence processed in each case is rising, market pressures are reducing overall price per gigabyte for processed data. As a result, Daticon EED is placing greater emphasis on client services and investing more resources in both its Data Analysis Group and in an intense research and development initiative to extend the capabilities of its market-leading Discovery Partner software platform.

"The demand for eDiscovery services is shifting from one that is primarily driven by law firms to one that is more balanced between law firms and corporate legal departments," said Jahnke. "Daticon EED has the project management skills and experience, the proven methodology and a powerful technology platform to provide unmatched service to both types of customers. I'm excited about leading this effort."

Jahnke brings a wealth of eDiscovery market experience and proven success to his new role. He was vice president of operations at Daticon for two years prior to its acquisition by Daticon EED and has been instrumental in the integration of the two entities. He previously served as vice president of sales and marketing with eDiscovery services vendor Fios. Jahnke was also vice president of worldwide sales operations at Sequent Computers, a Portland-based technology company. He will be based in EED's Daticon Business Unit facility in Norwich, Connecticut, which provides service proximity to the largest single geographic market of corporate legal departments and major law firms in the United States.
